In 1979, with his hard work, and unselfish desire to provide for his family, Duane implemented his skill for growing plants and knowledge of landscaping to not only build one prosperous business location, but two at one time.

Duane created his first location on Econlockhatchee Trail in Orlando, situated on 1+ acre of land that held approximately 100 different specimens of plants and trees. He cultivated his own cuttings from plants in the area and transplanted them over and over again to expand his agriculture services.

Sieffert’s Nursery started out with hundreds of clippings that grew into even more mature plants that have been decorating Orlando for many years.  This site was in operation for 20 years when a second site was opened in 1990 and has taken over as the primary source of business.  The Tanner Road property now houses more than 100,000 plants for Retail and Wholesale distribution.  Duane prides himself on being a leader in the nursery business with ongoing commitment to Orlando and the surrounding cities.
